WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
Please arrive at 6:10pm for our ceremony at the State Library of Victoria. The ceremony will start at 6:30pm. Enter via the main entrance on Swanston Street.

 

We recommend heading into the city early to avoid peak hour traffic and enjoy a pre-ceremony drink nearby. Some recommendations are: 

HER Rooftop - the perfect rooftop bar for a cocktail - 3 minute walk.

The MOAT - intimate bar/restaurant - 2 minute walk.

Coopers Inn - more of a laidback pub - 7 minute walk.

IS THERE PARKING?
There’s no parking directly at the State Library, but there are several nearby options including [Wilson Parking on La Trobe Street / QV Melbourne / Melbourne Central]. Uber or public transport are also easy options.

WHERE TO STAY

For our friends and family travelling to Melbourne, we recommend staying in the CBD as it will make getting to the State Library of Victoria easy and convenient.

Getting around in the CBD is made easy by the free trams. Some recommendations are:

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We welcome your children to join us at the recovery!

Please refer to your invitation envelopes to see who is included on your RSVP.

WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINKS?
Absolutely — expect spirits, canapés, a sit down dinner, and plenty of champagne.

IS THERE A GIFT REGISTRY?
Your presence is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to contribute, we’ll have a wishing well on the night to go towards our honeymoon.​

IS THERE A RECOVERY?
Yes! We’d love to keep the celebrations going! Join us for a relaxed recovery on Saturday 11 April 2026. Location is pending - but likely Yarra Botanica.

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?
Please RSVP no later than 10 Jan 2026 for both the wedding and the recovery day so we can finalise numbers.
